There might be a world out there where we can change what other people think or maneuver how they perceive us, but my mission and my story really start with something much simpler: wanting others to perceive me without fear.
Sex will always sell. I mean, it sells for me. For a long time, I carried shame that I didn’t really understand. I was a very hypersexual person as a kid. Some say that was because I was predisposed to it, but that’s not how I remember it. I was predisposed to my sarcastic mom who loved helping people. Yes, some of her jokes were inappropriate, but a sailor’s mouth runs in the family. Sex was a normal topic at the dinner table, and of course, there was humor involved. I loved it, and it became my pinpointed focus into education and adulthood.
Everybody always asks me, “How did you get to this point? How did you end up wanting to be a "sex coach?” Truly, it all just came together. It all made sense. Helping others has always been part of who I am. When I was a kid, I used to call myself the “love doctor,” assisting my peers crushes together. And now, in my adulthood, I get to take that passion, focus on mastering it, and use it where it truly makes a difference.
I’m not just getting crushes together as 'Miss Love Doctor' anymore, I’m helping people crush the world, untangle the stories and assumptions we’ve been given, and finally digest shame.
